Osiris Market FAQ

The questions that come up most, with the short version and the longer one where they differ.

Three current mirrorsVerified set
All three resolve to the same market: same account, same balance, same orders. If one is slow, use another. How to check an address before you log in.
Is Osiris Market down?
If all three addresses on the links page fail after two or three fresh circuits, the market is under heavy load or mid-rotation. Check the operator's signed posts on Dread before you conclude anything. This site does not publish an uptime number, so nobody here will quote you a percentage. Tor markets come back; the queue page is the market saying "still here, wait a moment."
Why won't my link open?
In order of likelihood: a bad circuit (new circuit, reload), an outdated Tor Browser (update it), a normal browser instead of Tor (close it), or an address from the previous rotation (use the set on the links page). If the page that loads is not the market, you have a clone, not a problem.
Which of the three mirrors is the real one?
All three, equally. They point at the same backend: same account, same balance, same orders. There is no main onion and no backup. If one is slow, use another. A forum post that ranks the set is ranking it for its own reasons.
What is the queue page?
A dark screen that says you are in a queue and not to refresh. It is the anti-DDoS gate at the front door. Wait it out; refreshing restarts your place in line. In busy hours it can take a couple of minutes.
Can I use Osiris Market from this site?
No. This is a directory, not a storefront. There is no shop, no login form, and no cart here. You log in on Tor, on one of the three addresses. Any clearnet page with an Osiris login form is a clone, and the form is what it is for.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. The catalog is open. An account is needed to buy, and PGP setup before the first order makes the shipping fields sane.
My saved address no longer works. What now?
It is from the previous rotation, or a rotation is in progress. Use the current set from the links page. New addresses go up in the signed announcement first; chat surfaces follow later, if at all.
Is there an app?
No. Tor Browser, desktop or Android, is the whole client story. Anything called an Osiris app is a third party's invention.
How do I know this directory is not a scam?
You do not, from this page alone, and that is the point of the verify page. The addresses can be checked against the signed announcement, the length and the alphabet can be counted, and the market's banner can be compared to the address bar. We ask you to do that instead of trusting the page.
What does "verified" mean here?
It means the address matches the operator's signed announcement. It does not mean "we poked the server today". This site makes no requests to the onions and publishes no availability data; the word is doing exactly one job.
Is Osiris Market legit?
"Legit" for a Tor market has three parts: it takes the money, it ships the goods, it mediates when it does not. Osiris has run standard escrow and dispute handling since 2024 without a shutdown event. We do not guarantee any vendor. No one can, and anyone who does is selling something.
Why BTC and XMR only?
That is the pair the market settles in. Monero is the privacy default; Bitcoin credits after about two confirmations. No Litecoin, no cards, no "deposit via app". If a page offers more, it is a different page.
